Growing advantages of condensation formation in the greenhouse

Condensation influences the light output in a greenhouse. This can be either a positive or a negative influence, depending on the way the condensation is formed. The use of hydrophilic coatings results in a layer of water, while hydrophobic coatings lead to formation of droplets. It is believed that hydrophilic coatings produce more light transmission than hydrophobic coatings. Research has shown that Cultilene’s AR coating is hydrophilic.
